A Fete Worse than Death by Richard James
Heckington Players 2017 Spring show and is the Players’ tribute to the 150th Anniversary of Heckington Show this year.
This dead funny play is set at a local village fete which includes its very own host of quirky characters including actor Ray Martin who is opening the show, playing on his fame as TV’s Inspector Brady. Little does he know that ambition, infidelity and marrow envy will lead to murder, and he’ll be left to solve the murder – without a script! A night full of laughs and surprise’s and this year, the hall will be transformed into a village fete atmosphere to help make our audience feel even closer to the action with plenty to see and do.
